Miniature horses, note books and hot glue guns?

My name is Alayna and I write stories. I have been writing since I was five years old, but I have loved reading for as long as I can possibly remember. I love horses, especially my buddies and my Miniature horse who lives at the therapeautic riding center where I volunteer. 

I enjoy doing the fun work at the barn, like riding the horses and playing with them, but I also like the dirty work of mucking out stalls and sweeping the barn and tack room, cleaning tack and all the behind-the-scenes work. 
 

My stories consist of mostly fantasy, science fiction and equine related stories. I enjoy watching television shows like Doctor Who, BBC Sherlock, Once Upon A Time and Merlin. I would list some of my favourite books (Which you can find here) but I have far too many to list. 
 

I might be American, but I prefer to use British spellings of some words. I just love the way they are spelled. I put this little tid bit of information here just to clarify that I'm not British, all though that'd be super cool. 

In my free time, I write stories and do research on miniature horses, because I am the proud owner of Neville Shortbottom (Harry Potter reference), which is that little pony in the photograph above.
