God made each and every horse in a very unique way from the way they walk, neigh, or the way they look, they're all special and have their own pesonality. In this article, I have included some amazing horse facts that every horse person needs to know.
Facts about our equine friends:
* Horses backs cannot bend...at all. Our backs can bend, but theirs cannot.
* Horses have the largest eyes of any land animal.
* They can't vomit.
* Horses cannot breath from their mouths-- don't cover their nostrils!
* They have better memories than elephants.
* Horses are able to learn human words and memorize human words and hear human voices better than dogs. * In the UK, all horses, ponies and donkeys have to have a "Horse Passport."
* Horses have around 205 bones in their body.
* There are more than 300 breeds of horses in the world today!
* You can tell the gender of a horse by its teeth-- most males have 40, females have 36. * Mustang horses are an endangered species.
* The Queen of England has set up a breeding program for percherons.
* The World's Smallest Horse is called Einstein and he is only 14 inches tall. * In the early 1900's, horses were polluting cities with tons of dung and automobiles were seen as a green solution to the problem. * Morgan horses are the earliest American breed. * The last horse-bus in Europe stopped operation in 1923.
Horses are amazing in any way they are, no matter how slow or mischevious they are.
